COVID-19 – Advice for Customers

Apple & Pear Crumble Dessert

Ingredients:
8 Granny Smith apples
8 Bosc Pears
Chopped, cored, peeled steamed till just tender
1/2 cup sugar
400g softened butter
½ bag in store muesli of your choice
½ cup plain flour
1 tablespoon maple syrup

Method:
Place the steamed apples and pears in a casserole dish and pour the maple syrup over them, mixing it through. In a large bowl, mix together the butter, plain flour, muesli and ½ cup sugar until crumbly. Put on top of the fruit and bake at 200 degrees until topping becomes golden brown. Serve with cream or custard.

Serves: 4-6

Amanda’s Bircher Muesli

Ingredients:
1 packet rolled oats or muesli
750ml Harvey Fresh cloudy apple juice
250ml natural yoghurt
300ml cream (or milk)
Gala apples, lady finger bananas or fruit of your choice

Method:
Mix the oats with juice, yoghurt and cream. Cover and leave to soak overnight. Stir through fruits as you serve the following days. Will keep for 4 – 5 days covered in the fridge.
